    Managing and designing performance-oriented elearning requires two essential components: 
    1. Implementing an integrated robust learning management system to streamline the administration, registration, tracking and reporting on the elearning courses
    2. Designing and developing engaging elearning courses to increase performance.
    This session will provide you with practical tips and strategies to increase your understanding about the selection and implementation of a suitable learning management system and it will provide insight into new strategies to increase the impact of your elearning courses. Session objectives include:
    • Identifying the importance of analyzing and identifying your learning management systems (LMS) requirements (i.e. what do you need an LMS to do for your organization?)
    • Explaining the importance of defining the delivery and deployment scope
    • Setting a realistic time frame to set up/install
    • Identifying personalization/configuration options (e.g. ecommerce, web services, learning catalogues, and learning/career paths)
    • Examining the readiness of your existing learning content
    • Explaining the importance of connecting and integrating with existing systems
    • Defining costing and scheduling
    • Explaining new eLearning design strategies and tips to improve learner engagement and satisfaction
    • Explaining new eLearning development tips and strategies to improve the development process.

    This event is free for members; however registration is required. Advanced registration is required for ALL attendees for this session. There will be no registration at the door.

    About Didier Bourgeot and Linda Waddell

    Didier Bourgeot, President of Akuter Technologies Inc., has 30+ years of experience in managing companies, products and sales teams. Didier moved to Canada in 1995 and became a Canadian citizen in 2000. He founded Akuter Technologies Inc. in 2001 a Vancouver-based company. Prior coming to Canada, Didier served as General Manager for South Europe at Spider Systems, the largest European inter-networking manufacturer and as an executive for other large European companies.

    Linda Waddell, President of TecKnowledg-e Learning, Inc., is an accomplished learning strategist and instructional designer with a 30+ year record of achievement strategizing and building customized workplace training programs. Linda has worked with several high profile clients, in a wide array of industries and business areas to implement eLearning programs. When compliance training is required because of safety, and/or high-liability concerns, clients entrust Linda and her team to design and develop interactive, legally defensible, performance-based training.
